Fed Ex 50 & Modified Mania presented as huge two day special event at Tri-City Speedway this weekend
Pontoon Beach, IL (September 17, 2007) One of the biggest racing events of 2007 in the St. Louis area will be at Tri-City Speedway this weekend. The 2nd Annual "FED EX 50" featuring UMP DIRTcar Late Models and the 3rd Annual Modified Mania featuring UMP DIRTcar Modifieds is expected to draw racers from all over the Midwest. Nikko Smith named Master of Ceremonies for Fed Ex 50!
Pontoon Beach, IL (September 17, 2007) Nikko Smith, a singer/songwriter who was the ninth-place finalist on American Idol 4, was named as Master of Ceremonies for the Fed Ex 50 on Saturday, September 22nd at Tri-City Speedway. Little Miss Tri-City 2007
Tri-City Speedway will be holding their first annual Little Miss Tri-City competition during the 2007 season. Four lucky little girls will be chosen to help out as a Trophy Girl at any one of the following events this year: Fed-Ex 50, Mid-Season Championship, Summer Nationals, or Mod Challenge. Then all four girls will make their final appearance at the Season Championship. The girls will be chosen on Sat. May 19th and will be crowned together on Fri. Pontoon Beach, IL (March 31, 2007) Tri-City Speedway continues to prepare for the 2007 racing season as work continues on finishing the new track. The half-mile and quarter-mile tracks have been re-configured into one 3/8 mile track. There is all new Musco Lighting being installed and the concrete wall around the outside of the track is just about complete. Tri-City Speedway 2007 season to get start one week later than planned!

Tri-City Speedway announces big plans for 2007!
Pontoon Beach, IL (November 15, 2006) Tri-City Speedway has some big changes in store for the 2007 racing season. The biggest change comes will be the racing surface itself. Tri-City Speedway will be reconfigured from the current two track configuration, a 1/2 mile and 1/4 mile track, into one 3/8 mile track. The existing 1/4 mile track will be extended out at each end to make it into a 3/8 mile track. The new track will feature a concrete wall completely around the outside of the track and have all new lighting. (more…)
