Where Can I Purchase Tickets?
Tickets can only be purchased at front gate at this time. We accept cash or all major credit & debit cards. There is an ATM on site if needed.

What Time Do The Races Start And End?
Races generally start at 7:15 pm and last 4 hours. Start times vary depending on season and weather.

Is Camping Available?
Camping is available.

What Types Of Food Do You Sell At The Track?
We sell a variety of foods from Cheese burgers to Chicken Strips. Nachos and Chili cheese fries seem to be the most popular. We also sell beer.

What Are The Track Seating Options?
We have 5,000 seats in the main grand stands 2,500 seats on either side of the flag stand. There is also the pit grand stands that holds 500 more. Plenty of seating for everyone.

Should I Bring Anything Specific?
You may bring a stadium chair for comfort.

What Items Are Not Allowed At The Track?
You may not bring in food, alcohol, weapons or animals.

 

Alcohol:
Race fans that consume alcohol are encouraged to drink responsibly. All alcohol sales will require a picture ID as proof of age. You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase alcohol. Tri-City Speedway may refuse to serve alcoholic beverages to any person for any reason, including without limitations persons appearing intoxicated. The Tri-City Speedway may report any persons in violation of the alcohol policy to the Pontoon Beach Police if they believe you are acting contrary to the law or in a manner which may endanger yourself, others or their property.

 

Behavior Policy:
We want all fans to have the best experience possible. Our image will be shaped not only by staff, drivers, teams, but by fans as well. Our goal is to ensure that every fan experiences the high-energy environment of racing, and to create a safe and supportive environment for participants while maintaining a wholesome, family oriented atmosphere. To ensure that all fans have a pleasant experience at facility, each guest should act responsibly and be considerate of others. Be a good sport. The Tri-City Speedway security personnel will respond to complaints of misconduct. Fans who fail to comply with Tri-City Speedway policy after being warned will be subject to ejection or arrest.

Coolers:
For the safety and comfort of fans, carry-in coolers of any kind are not permitted.

Display Area:
Visit vendors/sponsors display booths in the Main Midway to sample and try all of the newest innovations on the market today.

Emergencies:
In the event of an emergency please notify one of the speedway employees or security personnel in your area.

Handicapped and Disabled Accessible Parking:
Parking for Handicapped and Disabled guests is available. You must have a disabled parking pass issued by your state displayed in your window to access this parking area.

First Aid – Fan Care Centers:
We have trained paramedics at the facility that will be able to provide both Basic and Advanced life support for both drivers and spectators.

 

Food & Beverage Concessions:For your convenience, we have concession stands conveniently located in the facility to serve all guests. All of your favorite food and beverage items are available. No food or beverage will be permitted to be brought into the facility, if found, it will be confiscated.

Grandstand Rules:
Patrons caught throwing any items will be immediately removed from the property, with the possibility of being prosecuted under Illinois Law.
If problems should arise please notify the usher in your area. In general admission areas please be respectful and courteous to people around you.

Lost and Found:
Articles found during an event will be turned into the lost and found at The Main Office in the main concourse of the facility.

Lost Children:
Tri-City Speedway personnel will escort children who become separated from their families to the Main Office until their families are located. Parents reporting or inquiring about lost children should contact the nearest event staff employee or one of the security personnel in their area.

Press Box/Control Tower:
Only those holding the proper credentials will be allowed to enter the Control Box.

Prohibited Items:
To ensure that all fans have a safe and enjoyable visit to the Tri-City Speedway, the following items will not be permitted:

  • Coolers of any size
  • Glass containers
  • Weapons
  • Illegal drugs
  • Fireworks
  • Alcoholic Beverages
  • Other items that in the judgment of Tri-City Speedway management pose a safety hazard or diminish the enjoyment of an event by other patrons.

All carry-in bags, large purses, blankets, sleeping bags etc…are subject to search by Tri-City Speedway security personnel prior to entering the facility. Prohibited items or contraband that are discovered during security inspections at the Speedway entrances must either be returned to the owner’s vehicle or discarded. Unlawful items that are discovered during security inspections will be reported to the police. Any prohibited items discovered inside the Tri-City Speedway are subject to confiscation.

 

Restrooms:
Restrooms are located directly behind the grandstands on the east end of the administration building.

Security:
Tri-City Speedway security personnel will be stationed throughout the Speedway. Should you require assistance, please notify the nearest event staff employee. The appropriate person or agency will be dispatched to your location to assist you.

Souvenirs:
Show off your favorite racing apparel, support your favorite local driver, or support the Tri-City Speedway by purchasing Speedway and racing souvenirs. The Tri-City Speedway souvenir store is open during all events.

Souvenir Programs:
Souvenir programs are located at the main ticket booth and the souvenir stand.
