Test & Tune set for Sunday, March 29th is canceled due to wet conditions. Racing starts on Friday, April 3rd!

An inch and half of rain on Wednesday night and Thursday morning followed up by a dusting of snow Friday morning has forced track officials to cancel Sunday's Test & Tune at Tri-City Speedway. With high temperatures only forecast to be in the mid 40s on Friday and Saturday, there is just no possible way to get the track prepared for Sunday's practice. The season will open on Friday, April 3rd "Full Throttle Friday" will be in action with a full program of UMP Late Models, UMP Modifieds, B-Modifieds, UMP Street Stocks & UMP 4-Cylinders.

Lucas Oil Late Models at Tri-City Speedway on May 1st

UMP Late models will qualify during hotlaps in 2015!

The UMP Late Model class will be trying out a new format for the upcoming 2015 Racing Season: Late Models will hot lap & qualify in the same session on a weekly basis. With fast qualifier drawing a pill for inversion of their heat race line ups. 1,2,3,4,5 or 6! As always our dash will line up by heat race finish, with the feature being lined up by the dash finish. This should make for more exciting racing throughout our evenings events! This format will start with our Season Opener Friday April 3rd!

WEATHER FORCES COMPLETE GOLD CROWN MIDGET CANCELLATION

Granite City, IL........The 6th "Gold Crown Midget Nationals" has fallen to the elements as continuing rain, wet grounds and predicted low temperatures in the St. Louis area have conspired to force cancellation of the remaining two nights of the Honda USAC National Midget race weekend at Tri-City Speedway. The Honda USAC National Midget series resumes November 20-21-22 at Canyon Speedway Park in Peoria, Ariz.
