The 14th Annual Modified Mania Presented by Summit Racing Equipment Kicks Off With New Format

Thursday, October 27th – Night #1
The opening night of the 14th Annual Modified Mania Presented by Summit Racing Equipment gets underway with a complete show for the A-One Towing UMP Modifieds with a new format for the 3-day event. The UMP Modifieds each night will Pill Draw, Passing Points for Heats and Qualifiers then B-Mains. The top 40 in passing points from the Heats will advance to Qualifiers. The Qualifiers will line up with an invert drawn by the winner of heat 6 from pills 3-6. The top 16 in combined overall points from the heats and qualifiers will be locked into the
A-Main.The B-Mains will be lined up with position 17th in overall combined points starting on the pole of B-Main #1 taking the top 2 to the A-Main based on car count. The A-Main each night will consist of a 26 car starting field. The feature each night will be lined up by the top 16 in overall combined passing points from heats and qualifiers, top 2 advancing from 4 B-Mains and 2 track Provisionals for positions 25 and 26. The A-One Towing UMP Modifieds will run a 25-lap, $3,000 to win main event. In addition, the McKay NAPA UMP Late Models will Group Qualify each night with Friday’s event consisting of a 25-lap, $2,000 to win main event.

Friday night’s program will show case the same format for the UMP Modifieds
with a 30-lap, $4,000 to win main event. The UMP Late Models will be a 30-lap, $2,500 to win main event. In addition, the UMP Crate Late Models will be added to Friday and Saturday’s program paying $1,000-to win each night.

Saturday night’s program will show case the same format for the UMP Modifieds
with a 35-lap, $5,000 to win main event. The UMP Late Models will be a 35-lap, $3,000 to win main event. In addition, the UMP Crate Late Models will compete for $1,000-to win.

Entry Fee – $50 per night for the A-One Towing UMP Modifieds with $40 Tow Money each night for driver’s not making the A-Main
NO Entry Fee – UMP Late Models & UMP Crate Late Models

Mullins Race Engines is sponsoring each night $50 to every UMP DIRTcar A-One Towing Modified heat winner.
In addition, on Saturday Mullins Race Engines is sponsoring a Non-Qualifiers race. This race will consist of 22 cars from the
B-Mains not transferring to the A Feature. The winner of the Non-Qualifiers race has the options to forfeit his “win” money and start
27th in the feature.

Point Fund:
Every night, drivers will earn event points for their feature finish only as follows:
