Pediatric Diabetes Research/Education Fundraisers Friday, July 8, 2011 Tri-City Speedway   Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary #3638 (Florissant, MO) and Tri-City Speedway have teamed up together to raise funds for the PEDIATIC DIABETES RESEARCH/EDUCATION on Friday July 8th, 2011.   The Auxiliary will donate the funds made at this event to St. Louis Children’s Hospital Foundation so that it remains in the metropolitan area.  Drivers will be making collection during the course of the evening as they pass through the stands with their helmets.  Additional there will be a table set up in the midway to provide information on Pediatric Diabetes, Children’s Hospital Family Resource [...]

Tri-City Speedway to host Professional Crate Racers of America (PCRA) Season Championship & UMP DIRTcar Pro Late Model Championship Events!

Pontoon Beach, IL (June 27th, 2011) Tri-City Speedway will host one of the biggest weekends for crate late models ever held in the Midwest on October 14th & 15th, 2011. Two Series Championships will be decided on one weekend at the fast 3/8 mile clay oval. It kicks off on Friday, October 14th with the Professional Crate Racers of America (PCRA) Series competing for their Season Championship. The PCRA Series has races in Missouri, Illinois and Kentucky and has drivers from Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana and Arkansas competing in the series. (more…)

Tri-City Speedway Inks World of Outlaws Late Model Series Date For Fri., Sept. 16

PONTOON BEACH, IL – June 3, 2011 – The World of Outlaws Late Model Series will make a long-awaited return to Tri-City Speedway on Fri., Sept. 16, setting up a huge weekend of action for the national tour in the St. Louis area. The WoO LMS will usher in the fall season with a Midwestern doubleheader, contesting a 50-lap, $10,000-to-win event at promoter Kevin Gundaker’s Tri-City facility on Sept. 16, before crossing the Mississippi River to contest the Pepsi Nationals on Sat., Sept. 17, at I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Mo. Pontoon Beach, IL (May 6th, 2011) The extreme weather and very wet conditions have slowed down the progress on the construction projects at Tri-City Speedway and forced promoters Tammy & Kevin Gundaker to push back opening night until Friday, May 13th. The two day Nothern All Star Late Model Series event and UMP Modified special scheduled for this Thursday and Friday has been canceled. On Friday, May 13th, Tri-City Speedway will feature a full program of racing including UMP Late Models, UMP Modifieds, UMP Pro Late Models, Street Stocks which will be sanctioned by UMP as UMP Factory Stocks in [...]
