Tri-City Speedway 4/18/14 Pontoon Beach, IL (April 18th, 2014) The Midwest Open Wheel Association (MOWA) made their first of four visits of 2014 to Tri-City Speedway and a great field of cars were on hand to battle. Pontoon Beach, IL - April 11th, 2014 - Tri-City Speedway opened up the 2014 racing season with some outstanding racing action in all five divisions. Brian Shirley of Chatham, IL would claim the UMP DIRTcar Super Late Model main event as he held off the challenges of Randy Korte and Michael Kloos on the restarts after several late race cautions.
