CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS FROM TRI-CITY SPEEDWAY Pontoon Beach, IL (September 14, 2007) Tri-City Speedway hosted their Season Championship Night in which Champions for the 2007 racing season were crowned in all five divisions. There were 140 race cars on hand in the five divisions to compete in the night's events. In the Late Model division, Bryan Collins of Elsberry, Missouri started the night with a slim nine point lead in the championship point standings over Mark Faust. Collins was able to secure the championship with a dominating performance as he stormed to his fourth victory of the 2007 [...]

Pontoon Beach, IL (August 28, 2005) Defending UMP Late Model National Champion Rodney Melvin of Benton, IL raced to his second straight UMP Late Model win at Tri-City Speedway. Melvin, who led the entire twenty-five lap main event fought off the challenges of Steve Sheppard enroute to claiming the win. Hagen started fourteenth in the main event and drove his RFMS Racing owned Liberty Village/McGladrey & Pullen Spike/Esslinger Ford past Jerry Coons for the lead on lap fifteen and held off Coon's challenges to regain the lead to earn the victory in the twenty-five lap main event.
