Hoosier EMOD Tire Rule adjusted at Tri-City Speedway!
Effective June 1st, 2015, the Hoosier A40S tire will no longer be legal on the rear axle in the UMP Modified & B-Modified divisions. Then on July 1st, 2015, the Hoosier A40S tire will also not be allowed on the front wheels in the UMP Modified & B-Modified divisions. The Hoosier A40 and H40 in sizes 26.5 and 27.5 will be the only tires allowed after July 1st, 2015 in those divisions.

Live internet broadcasts set for Tri-City Speedway’s Lucas Oil Series and Gold Crown Midget events
PONTOON BEACH, Ill. — Two of Tri-City Speedway’s biggest events in 2015 will receive live pay-per-view video coverage on the internet. The 3/8-mile track’s May 1 Spring Spectacular for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the seventh annual Gold Crown Midget Nationals on Sept. 4-5 will be broadcast live, giving fans who can’t attend in person the chance to still catch all the competition. Both pay-per-view broadcasts will be handled by motorsports media companies with plenty of experience presenting live internet coverage of short-track racing. An inch and half of rain on Wednesday night and Thursday morning followed up by a dusting of snow Friday morning has forced track officials to cancel Sunday's Test & Tune at Tri-City Speedway. With high temperatures only forecast to be in the mid 40s on Friday and Saturday, there is just no possible way to get the track prepared for Sunday's practice. The season will open on Friday, April 3rd "Full Throttle Friday" will be in action with a full program of UMP Late Models, UMP Modifieds, B-Modifieds, UMP Street Stocks & UMP 4-Cylinders.
