Pontoon Beach, IL (April 16th, 2010) Tri-City Speedway host the National All-Star Racing Association (NASRA) Late Model Series for their first ever appearance at the 3/8 mile dirt oval as they joined forces with the Monster Midwest Late Model Series which brought a stellar field of Late Models for a great shootout. It was the 2009 Tri-City Speedway Track Champion Mark Voigt out-dueling all of the travelers to claim the $3,000 top prize. Voigt jumped out to the lead at the drop of the green flag and was in control for most of the thirty laps. His only challenge came after a mid-race restart when Jason Feger was able to pull along side coming down the back stretch. However, Voigt was able to hold off the challenge and keep the lead enroute to the win. The real battle was for the second spot as Wendell Wallace, Jason Feger, Brian Shirley and Billy Laycock had a classic battle swapping around the second through fifth positions throughout much of the event. Brian Shirley took advantage of the Delware Double File restart on lap twenty-five and moved from fifth to second as he split the second and third place running Wallace and Feger to take the spot. Shirley would hold off the challenges of Wallace in the final laps to finish second. Wallace took third with Feger finishing fourth. Laycock rounded out the top five.

Pontoon Beach, IL (April 9th, 2010) A beautiful night weather wise brought out a big field of racecars and a packed grandstands along with another exciting night of racing at Tri-City Speedway! Fans were treated to a couple of extra feature events tonight as the Late Model and Factory Stock features that were rained out last week were made up at the start of tonight's program.

GLASGOW, Ky. -- After the much anticipated debut of the American Modified Series presented by Force for Earth on April 2, the newly formed series is set to present its next event on Friday April 16 at Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, IL. The event will feature at 30 lap A-Main and will pay the AMS feature winner $1,500 and pay $200 to start.

The Pit Crew Championship Challenge dates for each class are as follows:
Friday April 23rd - Late Models
Friday May 14th - Pro-Crate Late Models
Friday June 4th - Modifieds
Friday July 2nd - Street Stocks
Friday July 30th - Factory Stocks
The Top 8 in Tri-City Speedway Member Points In Each Class Will Be Eligible To Compete For The Following Awards:
$300 To Win, 5' Pit Crew Challenge Trophy plus 3 Pit Crew Shirts from R&R Enterprises For Each Class
Who will have the fastest crew in each class??
General Rules:
This will all be done between turns 4 & 1. They will start from a dead stop in turn 4 race to 2 boxes outlined at the start finish line then race to the finish line going into turn 1.
2-Man Crew must change RR Tire & Add Fuel!! This will be head to head single elimination competition.
The Ultimate Pit Crew Challenge will be run during intermission.
