Billy Faust of Lebanon, IL took the victory in the Super Late Model division. Bryan Collins took the lead at the drop of the green flag and led much of the event, but lapped traffic came into play and Billy Faust found the better line through traffic to wrestle the lead from Collins. Faust ripped past early leader Randy Korte just eight laps into the event and went on to victory. Rick Salter, who currently leads the Late Model point standings at Tri-City Speedway came home in the third position with Michael Kloos taking fourth and Rusty Griffaw completed the top five. Collins, Harrison, Lyons, Gegg & Shaw take victories at Tri-City Speedway!

It was Mark Faust that jumped out to the early lead in the event, but after dropping back to fourth in the early laps, Billy Faust fought back to battle Mark Faust for the lead on lap seventeen. Over the winter, the track was rebuilt from a 1/2 & 1/4 mile ovals to a single 3/8 mile oval banked 10 degrees. The new track also featured all new lighting and many other improvements.
